Happy Holidays everyone! Which ever holiday you celebrate – this Christmas Prayer for All Faiths is for everyone – no matter your faith or non-faith. At this busy time of year, perhaps a reminder to focus on the things that matter most – the things that cannot be purchased, the things that may be gone without notice – the things that we all desire as human beings.

May our holidays be filled with peace, calm, love and joy,

May our hearts be open to those less fortunate than ourselves,

May we take time to demonstrate our love to our loved ones, near and far, including the ones who are estranged,

May we not pass judgement but acknowledge our differences – as it is what makes the world go ’round,

May we be curious rather than critical, to avoid arrogance and the stress it creates for all,

May we spend quiet time reflecting on our bounty, and being truly grateful for all we have,

May we not be caught in the January Hangover – having spent too much, eaten to much, and stressed too much in December,

May we acknowledge each other, knowing we all want the same things in life – happiness, peace, and knowing we are truly loved.
